In chapter 6, Wiesel and his fathers relationship changes when they are doe ending on each other throughout there trip while they are moving. There are multiple encounters when Wiesel could give up on his dad and leave him behind but he pushes on to keep him and his dad alive. Pit becomes harder when Wiesel must think about his father first before himself even when he is about to die.
